Randomised controlled trial on the effects of "It Gets Better" videos published in LGBT Health

A randomised controlled trial on the effects of “It Gets Better” videos was published in LGBT Health. Conducted by members of the Wiener Werkstaette the study has shown that selected narratives of coping specifically targeting youth identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or any other sexual or gender minority identities (LGBTQ+) might have beneficial effects. Specifically, vulnerable nonbinary/transgender youth benefitted from the videos in terms of a reduction in suicidal ideation. The paper can be found here:
